Gasoline at $3 a gallon; I need to earn $4.21 to pay for that gallon. Our Outback (internal combustion engine) achieves about 32 MPG. As of recent the Commonwealth of Virginia determined that electric vehicle and fuel efficient vehicle owners do not pay enough road tax and charge additional road tax when renewing the vehicles registration. So much for carbon credit.
